RSU #34 seeks a candidate that is positive, flexible and willing to learn within a variety of educational settings. Preference will be given to those with prior experience or training in the area of secondary education particularly math and science.

Must hold a valid Maine DOE Certificate and CHRC

Elementary Schools:

Speech Language Pathologist Position
Grade Level: K-5
Job location (city/town): Old Town 

RSU 34 is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy, both direct and consult, to children with variety of disabilities and work as an integral member of an educational team to provide high quality services to children with significant academic, behavioral, and social skills needs. Duties will also include evaluation, screenings as needed, case management and team collaboration. Preference will be given to those with experience in Applied Behavior Analysis; Autism and other developmental disabilities; literacy; articulation and language; and behavioral programming.

Must hold a valid CHRC and be eligible for obtaining a 293 endorsement or hold a Maine State License in Speech Language Pathology. 

Salary Range: Competitive Per Teacher Contract

K-3 Teachers at Old Town Elementary School

Old Town Elementary School is seeking applications for early elementary teachers starting in the fall 2017. OTES is a Pre-K through 5th Grade elementary school with about 550 students enrolled. There is a strong culture of communication, collaboration, and cooperation among staff, students, and families. The school looks to foster student growth through unique and varied experiences for the students, strong instructional programming, and dedicated teachers doing “what’s best for students.” The following expectations are part of the elementary programming at OTES:

Mathematics teacher

RSU 34 seeks an outstanding Mathematics teacher to join the faculty team at Old Town High School. The successful candidate will be student-focused, a strong communicator, reflective of classroom practices, a lifelong learner, and able to teach the complete range of mathematics at the high school level. Those with interests and experience regarding the application of mathematics to fields such as computer science, databases and robotics are especially encouraged to apply.
