Pine Tree league wrestling had 1 LMS and 1 OTES student compete in the regional wrestling tournament yesterday, at Camden Hills Regional High School. Competing was Chris Belyeu 137lbs 4th, Jaxyn McLaughlin 93lbs 5th. Both are heading to States next weekend at Mt Blue High School. Congratulations!


Today we got to celebrate a select few top Scholar Athletes voted on by the staff - Top 2 females and top 2 males - OTHS was well represented by Nate Baker, Kaiden Plourde, Kylee Murray (absent due to NHS Convention), and Rhiannon Bousquet - Nate Baker was the only lucky 🍀 Coyote to come away with the 1k Scholarship courtesy of the PVC and Joe Paul Family!



We did good today Coyote Nation! - When we lost our opponent for Unified Senior Day, Coyote Nation answered the call and we pivoted to a Fans/Band v. Unified Game in Mackenzie! 🏀 Unified Basketball 🏀 put the smack down on our Fans/Band team 126 - 37 Out of adversity come triumphant and a new tradition! Well done Coyote Nation!








🏀 Unified Basketball 🏀 played a few games over the past couple days. Monday we welcomed HA to Mackenzie playing a solid game 64-54 L - Tuesday we traveled to Brewer for an afternoon battle with the Witches 77-56 W - Tomorrow join us back in Mackenzie for Senior Game v. MA!



Events at OTHS for the Week of March 10th


RSU 34:: RSU 34 Schools will have a 2-hour delay this morning: Friday, March 7, 2025. This will allow road crews to treat the flash freeze and remove any new snow.


Unified 🏀 Basketball 🏀 with the short trip up the interstate to Lynx Country to battle it out on the hardwood - Team comes away with the first W of the season with a 95 - 67 win for the Coyotes - We welcome the Bronco's to Mackenzie tomorrow!


Mr. B's favorite sport made a return to Mackenzie Gym as Unified Basketball 🏀 faced off against the Red Riots of Orono today - a lot of competitive and awesome play by both teams as Orono came out on top 85-82 - Back in action Tomorrow up Rt to MA.

Old Town Indoor Track had two girls compete at the New England Indoor Track & Field Championships this past Saturday in Boston. Junior Elyannah Briggs finished tied for 8th (2nd from Maine) in the High Jump, jumping 5'-3" and sophomore Lucy Veilleux finished 13th (also 2nd from Maine) in the Long Jump with a jump of 17'-6". Congratulations to both Elyannah and Lucy for their performances at New England's!

🏀 OTHS Basketball 🏀 members joined Lewis Libby School today to celebrate Student of the Month students and participate in celebratory games. They danced, dunked, and played human hoops for the kids as they celebrated success! Athletics and Community, very important!








Leonard Middle School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Head Track Coach for the 2025 spring season. Qualified candidates should have great group management skills and experience in a variety of track and field events. Track - Old Town High School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Track and Field Coach specializing in the throwing events (Shot Put, Discus, Javelin) to join our coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing student-athletes, a strong background in throwing techniques, and the ability to teach and motivate athletes to excel in their events. This coach will work closely with the Head Track and Field Coach and other coaching staff to develop and implement effective training programs for our track athletes.

Football - Old Town High School seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Varsity Football Coach to lead and develop our high school football program. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of football strategy, coaching principles, and player development while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. The Varsity Football Coach will be responsible for the overall coaching, planning, and management of the football team and will work closely with players, assistant coaches, and school staff.

Events 2/24 Week


And that's a wrap on the OTO Black Bears 🐻 season with the last home game against HA - Senior Night for the bears as we say thank you and goodbye to our Seniors - Thank You for the memories and time with our program. JV also wrapped up the season with the late game at the Alfond that showcased some hard friendly play by both teams.



Athletics goes beyond the court, fields, or any playing surface that our Coyotes compete on. Student support goes beyond our student section, it is found with our Pep Band, Cheerleaders, and JROTC - All season long the dedication was seen and experienced by every athlete and coach! Well done Coyote Nation.
