JV Hockey opened the season on the last day of the year over at PIA….. Bears faced off against the Witches - starting the season 0-1 with a 4-1 loss…. JV hockey was the last sports event of the year - Very thankful for the return of athletics and look forward to 2022!

Wrapping up the day for Coyote Athletics - JV basketball played host to our cross town neighbors Brewer - JV boys dropped a hard fought game 49-41, JV girls capped of the night with a 38-26 Win against the Witches! Back in action next year!



Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams were in action today in an eight team meet at the U. Maine New Balance Fieldhouse.
The girls team had another strong meet finishing 2nd in the team results for the 3rd consecutive week, this time behind Brewer and they were led individually by juniors Grace Willey, who finished 1st in both the Hurdles & High Jump & was 2nd in the Long Jump and Cassidy Rackliffe, who finished 1st in the 2 Mile & 3rd in the Mile.
The boys team had another good meet as well and also ended up 2nd behind Brewer in the boys team results, they were led by junior Corbin Flewelling, 1st in the High Jump & Triple Jump and 3rd in the Long Jump and senior Chester Turner, 1st in 55M Dash & 2nd in the Long Jump.
The teams are off until Jan. 8th when they will be back at the New Balance Fieldhouse.


It was a dog fight at Mackenzie Gym today as the Huskies took on the Coyotes - Girls Varsity up first and moved to 6-0 with a 55-21 win. Varsity Boys move to 2-2 with a much needed 64-51 win. See everyone next year!



Coyote men also on the road the Eagle country - Both JV and Varsity coming back from a short break - JV lost 51-44 and Varsity moved to 1-2 on the season with a 71-49 loss - currently ranked 12th


Lady Coyotes on the road to Eagle country - Yotes came out with an exciting JV game winning 37-35 - Varsity finished out the game with a 50-42 W - this moves the girls to 5-0 on the season and in first place for heal points.


The tops played tonight on the ice at the Alfond - OTO hosted Messo tonight but fell 6-3 to a talented top ranked team. On to the next game!


Reminder - We are doing Covid testing at the school for all winter athletes at the school from 8-11 AM - Also, winter sports picture makeup will be tomorrow from 8-11 AM - Athletes are to show up during that time if they want to be included in team pictures or order individuals.

OT wrestling in action last night at the Guilford Duels. Short field of wrestlers for OT but performed strong - Only 2 ot wrestlers
Sam C who went 4-1 and Xander D who went 5-0. Up to the county next on Dec. 29th!


The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams were back in action today at the U. Maine New Balance Fieldhouse in another multi-team regular season meet. The girls team placed 2nd behind a strong Bangor team for the second week in a row and we're led by individual first place finishes from junior Grace Willey in the LJ and 55m Hurdles and also placed 2nd in the HJ, while senior Chelsey Cote had a runner up finish with a personal best in the shot put.
And despite being undermanned today, the boys team also finished 2nd behind Bangor and were led again by junior Corbin Flewelling, who for the second week in a row had individual victories in the LJ, TJ and HJ and junior Jorden Cote who scored in 3 events as well, with a 2nd in the LJ, a 3rd in the 55m and a 4th in the 200m. The teams are back in action at U. Maine a week from today.


Lady Yotes Basketball 🏀 on the long trek to Raider country last night - Varsity continued the dominance with a 72-30 W - JV made for a an exciting 43-30 game, but fell short of the W… Little break for the Coyotes, next game 28th at Ell.


OT/OTO Swim in action last night down in the Belfast area for the traditional pre-holiday meet - OT Boys 29-46 Belfast - OTO Swim 8-83 Belfast - Swim moves into break with plenty of regional and state qualifiers to this point.


With school being canceled tomorrow, We will move to keep the same schedule on Thursday, Dec. 23rd as communicated. Sports teams scheduled for Wed. Dec. 22nd should drop in for pictures on either Thursday, Dec. 23rd from 1-3 PM or on Tuesday, Dec. 28th from 8-11 AM.


RSU 34:: No School tomorrow, Wednesday December 22, 2021 in RSU34 - We will communicate a makeup for winter sports scheduled - See everyone next year!


Attention Student Athletes - To continue the pooled testing process over break, OTHS will be rapid antigen testing on Tuesday, December 28th - 8-11 AM at the Nurse Clinic at OTHS. All should test, if this date is a conflict then please contact Mr. Bousquet at the High School.


We will run the same ticket process for students - use the link to sign up for a chance for OTO Tickets - I will have them available tomorrow, Dec. 22nd for the Monday, Dec. 27th game...
