OT Boys Soccer in action against a top seeded PI team. Today for the boys was about returning to play. Both JV and Varsity programs suffered a home loss to the wildcats, but got to get back on the field to play - a lot of games next week for the Yotes!
OTXC concluded the regular season today at the Pendale Invitational in Hermon. Leading the way again for the boys team was junior Spencer Gordon, who finished 7th individually and recorded an individual course personal best. While the girls team got individual course personal bests from junior Sophia Nepton, who finished 12th and sophomore Zoe Yerxa, who finished right behind her in 13th. Next up for the teams is the PVC Large School Championship Meet next Saturday in Bucksport.
OTFH played host to the Hawks today. Team had a collective team win for the both the Varsity (5-1 W) and JV (8-0 W) team!
Today we celebrated our 10 Seniors - Thank you for the memories, the commitment, and the leadership over the year!
Varsity girls defeat P.I. 4-1 during their senior game. Rhi B. had a hat trick in the game scoring her first goal in the first half off an assist from Alexis D. Julie P. with the second goal of the first half off a corner kick. Rhi. B. scored her third goal in the second half off a Ashley T. corner kick. Rhi. B. scored the 4th goal with 13 minutes left in the game off a deflection from the other team to help lead the coyotes to victory. Danica B. had 9 saves on 9 shots in goal.
JV girls tied P.I. 2-2. Rhi. B. scored both goals for the coyotes, one in each half. Emily W. played hard and aggressive in goals

Varsity girls soccer defeat Ellsworth 2-1. Ashley T. helping lead the coyotes to victory with 2 goals both in the first half. First goal scored off a penalty kick. Second goal from a corner kick going directly into the net. Danica B. made key saves for the coyotes, contributing 20 saves on 21 shots in goal.
JV girls pick up first loss of the session against Ellsworth. Final score 0-4. Emily W. and Bella D. both contributing in net.
OT FH with an incredible win today v. a tough Pony team. Girls came out strong lead by Abby S. and Grace W. goals - Game ended with a 2-1 win for the Coyotes. JV continued the W's for the Coyotes, Danica F. with the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win for the Yotes!

JV girls win 2-1 against Foxcroft. Myah W. scored first with an assist from Ava B. Rhi B. scored the second goal to cushion the win for the JV coyotes. Emily W. had 10 saves on 11 shots in goal.
Varsity girls win 2-1 against Foxcroft. Score was 0-1 at half time in favor of the visiting Pony’s. The coyotes came back to score 2 goals on the first 7 mins of the second half. Alexis D. scored the first goal within the first 5 minutes off an assist from Gabby C. Rhi B. scored the second goal 3 minutes later off a cross from Makayla E. The coyotes played hard fought defense for the remaining 30 minutes of play. Danica B. had 11 saves on 12 shots in goal.

OTFH on the road to Pony Land - Varsity with a 2-0 loss on the road, but JV came away with the W 3-2, Karma with 1 goal and Dani lead the team with 2 goals to pull off the win! FA again later in the week at home!
JV OT Football 🏈 completed the series against HA with a 22-8 win at home on Victory Field! Great showing by the team, highlighted by Craft and Cote show on offense and altogether defensive effort for the team….

OT XC competed today at the 20th Annual Festival of Champions XC Invitational in Belfast with over 70 schools attending! Leading the way for the girls team were junior Sophia Nepton and sophomore Zoe Yerxa, who recorded an individual course personal best, while junior Spencer Gordon, with an individual course personal best and senior Philip Alyokhin led the way for the boys team! Next up for the teams is the Pendale Invitational next Saturday in Hermon.
JV girls soccer win 2-1 against Hermon. Score was 0-0 at half time. Hermon came out strong with the first goal in the second half off a direct kick. The coyotes kept fighting and attacking the goal. Ally C. scored the first goal with an assist from Eva H., making the score 1-1. Myah W. scored the second goal off a Lilly M. cross late in the second to lead the coyotes to victory. Emily W. played aggressive in goal with 10+ saves.
Varsity girls soccer loose to Hermon 0-5. Danica B. had 22 saves on 27 shots in goal. Coyotes look forward to their next game on Wednesday, October 6th @ Foxcroft.
Coyote Football 🏈 continues the winning Friday for Yotie Athletics - A massive 58-32 win lead by top plays of Isaac H., Chester T., and Caleb S. - Moves the team to 2-1 on the season with the Yotes traveling to Belfast next week!
