Updated Athletics - Week of 5/24/21
Another very good day for the girls and boys outdoor track teams as they wrapped up the regular season at home today! The girls completed a tremendous regular season with another first place team finish, upping their season record to 25 and 1! Individual highlights for the girls were turned in by senior Izabelle Trefts, who lowered her facility record with a victory in the 1600M Racewalk with a time of 7:12.64, which is also a new girls all-time Maine high school best! Sophomore Grace Willey recorded 3 individual event wins, including tying the facility record in the High Jump with a jump of 5'2"!
The boys team had a good day as well, finishing with a solid 3rd place team finish and ending their regular season with a 19 and 7 record. Leading the way for the boys were junior Chester Turner and sophomore Corbin Flewelling, each with 2 indvidual wins and were also members of the first place 4x100M Relay!
Next up for the teams is the PVC JV Championship Meet in Brewer on Wednesday and the PVC Large School Championship Meet in Hampden on Friday!
Today we have 2 Coyotes representing at the MPA Singles Tournament - Round of 16 - Justin Bishop lost his 1st match of the day ending his run, Sydney Loring won her 1st match, but lost her 2nd match of the day, ending her run at states - Both represented the program great!

A couple of good wins down the road for the Yotes at Orono - Baseball ⚾️ with a 5-inning 11-1 win against the Riots - Softball 🥎 helped by a Gabby Cody 2-run home run and Raegan Glidden 5-inning shut out in the circle 14-0 5-inning win - Coyotes continuing the strong season!
OT Girls tennis hosting Orono for a double-header at OTHS - girls move to 2-9 on the season with two 2-3 losses to the Riots, only a couple of matches left for the ladies this year to finish strong!
JV Baseball finished a great run of games tonight playing host to MDI - Yotes pulled away with 9-2 7 inning win ⚾️ Boys are playing good!
