
LMS Field Hockey held their home opener this afternoon vs the Hawks of Hermon. The Coyotes were trailing at the half 2-1 but managed to bounce back in the second half winning 4-2! Great job team! Bangor comes to town on Friday.


JV football with a big 34-0 win over MCI on Monday night. Lots of great play on both sides of the ball, including a one-handed leaping interception by Elijah Layton that belongs on an ESPN highlight reel. Wow. Next up, varsity football heads to Mattanawcook to take on the Lynx on Friday night. The Lynx make the return trip for a JV battle next Monday. Go Coyotes.


OT field hockey back in action this afternoon at Victory Field as Stearns came to town. The Yotes prevailed 3-0 on goals from Ruby Shaw, Phoebe Yerxa and Lindsay Mockler. Their next game is on Thursday as the Orono Red Riots come to town.

Hawks flew into town today for a 4 game series with the Coyotes. First up the boys teams - Varsity 9-2 L, JV 8-0 L - Girls on the pitch next - JV 3-2 W, Varsity 5-2 L - Teams back in action next week!





LMS Field Hockey played their first game of the season yesterday at Brewer Community School. The A game finished with a 1-1 tie, but the team pulled off a win in the B game, 4-0! Next up Hermon at home on Tuesday.


A little Friday Night Football 🏈 action as the Coyotes travel to Husky territory! Slow game for the Coyotes that could not get going offensively and suffer the first loss of the season 21-12 to MCI....


On the road tonight for Yotes FH as they took on H.A. on the turf. Some strong play by the Coyotes as they bounce back from the other day. Coyotes post a 4-0 W with Natalie Fournier having 3 goals, Phoebe Yerxa adding 1 and Ruby Shaw with an assist! Weekend off before welcoming Stearns on Monday....


The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams traveled to the county today for the Presque Isle Invitational. The girls team had a strong meet, finishing 2nd, just one point behind winner John Bapst, and were led by Lily Heitmann in 3rd, Lida Kanoti in 4th and Linzy Heitmann in 5th, followed by Liz Preble in 20th and Chloe Henry in 22nd. For the boys team, which finished in 6th place, Hayna Francis led the way individually in 8th, followed by CJ Yanush in 21st, Alex Roach in 28th, Kevin Murray in 51st and Cameron Jones in 52nd. The teams next meet is next Friday at Central.




Golf with the long trek up north to PI today - team with another solid score but came up a couple strokes short of the W - PI 166 - OTHS 169 - Nate Baker racking up the medal 🏅 count his year with another low round 36, Brady Harris 42, Sam Cote 43, Mike Garland 48..... top scores!


Some huge motivational win tonight for the Lady Yotes Soccer team vs MDI - JV played first on the big field as they played down due to injuries, with no subs and playing down 1 for a time, the girls Goals from Carmon Smart and Julia Reinzo lead to a 3-3 Tie- Varsity dominated most of the game against MDI and battled to a 2 - 1 W with 2 Rhi Rhi goals! Back in action on Saturday!



LMS Cross Country team ran their first race of the season today in Bangor. Top finishers were Izzy Howard in 12th, Irvin Bathelor in 11, Lucy Heitmann in 10th and Alex Gelo in 1st! Well done team!


LMS Soccer teams were in action at home for their first games of the season this afternoon. Boys faced a tough Ellsworth team and fell 9-0. The girls battled to a hard fought 0-0 tie. Teams are back in action Wednesday at home vs Hermon.


Home Opener Alert 🚨- Field Hockey 🏑 opened today v. Dexter - Strong class C team Dexter has, Yotes fell 4-0 L and move to 1-1 on the season.... JV had a strong showing and a 1-0 W on Victory Fields - Next game Friday @ H.A.



Overall better team effort and some key play from Karina Dumond (4 goals, 1 assist), Rhi Bousquet (2 goals, 1 assist), and some solid defense from Keely Kenny/ Oliviah Ketch, Ally Caron and Sadie May lead to a 6-4 W County win for the Yotes - First W of the season with MDI coming in on Thursday!

OTHS Boys Soccer ⚽️ continuing a tough start to the season hosting John Bapst to Victory Field - Varsity fell 10-0 and JV played a strong game but came up short 7-2 loss.... Boys have some much needed time off and then head to the County on Wednesday!



The Girls and Boys Cross Country teams opened the season today at the Ellsworth Invitational. The girls' team finished 5th, led by the top 15 finishes of Lida Kanoti in 11th and Lily Heitmann in 14th and rounded out the scoring with freshmen Linzy Heitmann in 21st, Liz Preble in 33rd and Chloe Henry in 44th. For the boys team, which finished 9th, Hayna Francis finished 21st, newcomer CJ Yanush was 42nd, freshmen Alex Roach was 48th and newcomers Jesse Bouchard (81), Kevin Murray (84) and Cameron Jones (85) completed the scoring for the boys. The teams next meet is this coming Friday when they travel to the Presque Isle Invitational.
