Boys NPV Swim braving the freezing temps to Jump into the water at the MPA State meet today at Bowdoin College - 9th place finish for the team with plenty of individual medals coming home! Great season in the water!
200 Yard Medley Relay of Ian Aldrich, Alex Roach, Josh Wolfertz, and Jack Marquis finished 6th with a time of 1:51:15, Ian Aldrich Finished 4th in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 58.97, Alex Roach in the 100 Breast finished 8th with a time of 1:05.82,





The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams closed the season on a high note at the Class B Indoor Track State Meet at Bates College in Lewiston on Saturday night with very successful finishes. The girls' team recorded a strong 3rd place finish, their highest since a 3rd in 2017, while the boys team also finished in the top ten, after missing it last year, with a solid 8th place finish. Individually for the girls, Ely Briggs remained undefeated in the High Jump this season winning it with a jump of 5'-2" and qualifying for New England's, Lucy Veilleux finished the day as the team’s top point scorer with a 2nd in Long Jump and a 3rd in Triple Jump and also qualified for New England's in the Long Jump, Olivia Lizzotte finished 6th in the 55M with a personal best 7.64, while the 4x200M Relay team of Lizzotte, Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy & Emily Wheeler finished 4th and the 4x800M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Meredith Cyr finished 5th. For the boys team, Noah Briggs finished 4th in the Triple Jump & tied 4th in the High Jump, Hayna Francis was 5th in Long Jump, CJ Yanush placed 8th in the Hurdles and the 4x800M Relay team of Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde, Kameron Plourde & Francis finished 3rd and the 4x200M Relay team of Aidan Sucy, Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Yanush finished tied 8th. Thanks to all team members for another enjoyable and successful season.



A great day for a swim! Girls NPV Swim with a 9th place finish at the Class B States today at Bowdoin College. Great finishes by all members of the team and individual/team hardware coming back to Old Town!

OTHS Boys taking on ELLs for a little Quarter-Final Basketball at the Cross Insurance Center - OTHS gave us all a Valentines Gift by pulling off the upset with a 47 - 34 W moving onto Semi-Final action on Wednesday, Feb 19th at 7:00 PM - Way to go boys!


OTHS Girls Basketball at the Cross playing JB in the Quarter-Final game - Not the outcome the team set out for as they fell 59-56 to JB and the 24-25 season comes to a close. Thank you fans, thank you community, and most of all thank you Players and Coaches for the season.

A little Pre-Lim Basketball in Mackenzie Gym tonight as the #7 Boys Basketball team took on #10 FA for a bid to the Cross Center - OT 62 - 46 W and a 8:30 PM game scheduled for Friday. During the game OT's Emmitt Byther became the 13th player in OTHS History to hit 1000+ points in a season. Congrats to Emmitt on his achievement!



The JV Boys Basketball team season has come to an end as they lost tonight to Bangor in the second round of the JV Post Season Tournament - A successful fun season for the team that saw the return of a veteran coach and competitive play all year. Thank you fans for all the support throughout the season!


Events - Feb 10th Week - Tournament Information



The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams competed at the PVC-EMITL Large School Championship Meet, which finished up late Saturday night at the New Balance Fieldhouse at UMaine. Both teams had strong showings, with the girls finishing 4th behind Class A schools Hampden, Bangor & Brewer, while the boys were 3rd, behind only Class A Hampden & Bangor. The girls received 1st place finishes from Ely Briggs in the High Jump, Lucy Veilleux in the Long Jump and the 4x200M Relay team of Olivia Lizzotte, Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy & Emily Wheeler, while Veilleux was 4th in Triple Jump, Lizzotte was 4th in the 55M & 5th in Triple Jump, Kylee Murray was 4th in Shot Put, Lexi Wesley was 5th in the 800M and the 4x800M Relay team of Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Meredith Cyr finished 4th. Wesley also received the Anne Norton Clerk's Award during the meet.
For the boys, Noah Briggs led the way with a 1st in High Jump & 2nd in Triple Jump, while Hayna Francis was 1st in Long Jump, CJ Yanush was 2nd in the Hurdles & 5th in Long Jump, Parker Day was 2nd in Triple Jump, Kaiden Plourde was 5th in the 800M and the 4x800M Relay team of Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde, Kameron Plourde & Francis finished 2nd and the 4x200M Relay team of Aidan Sucy, Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Yanush finished 5th. Next up for the teams is the Class B State Championship Meet on February 17th at Bates College.





OTO hosting Gardiner at the Alfond tonight! Team searching for a W and the hard work would pay off with a 3-2 W that saw 30+ shots on goal! Back in action next week!


OTHS Cheer in action at Class B State Competition at the Augusta Civic Center. Girls performed strong for having to learn a newer routine yesterday - Girls finished 11th today and end the season on a high note!

The first scores of competition Saturday are in! NPV Swim at the PVC Championships saw both the men's and women's programs earn runner-up positions! Onto states next weekend!
