
Huge road win for the Yotes tonight as they travel to Pony country - Boys Basketball 🏀 moves to 15-2 with a 67-51 W at Foxcroft - JV suffered its 2nd L of the season falling with a 68-64 L - Big game down the river on Wednesday as the Yotes wrap up the regular season at Orono…


A couple of changes for the next couple of days events -
- Boys Games tonight at FA are 5/6:30 PM
- Unified Game at FA tomorrow is postponed
- The JV Boys Basketball game was moved to a 4:30 PM start for Tue 7th
- OTO Hockey @ P.I. will be Feb. 17th at 5:45 PM

The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams wrapped up the regular season last night with 2nd place finishes in their six team meets at U. Maine. The girls team received strong individual performances from seniors Grace Willey with firsts in the Hurdles & Long Jump and a 5th in the Triple Jump and Kayleigh Johnston with a 2nd in the 200M & a 3rd in the 400M and also received double-digit points from Mikayla Johnston, Alexis Wesley, Olivia Lizzotte and Ely Briggs, and got a 1st place finish by the 4x200M Relay team of Kayleigh & Mikayla Johnston, Wesley and Lizzotte. The boys team was led by seniors Corbin Flewelling with a 1st in the Long Jump, a 1st in the Triple Jump breaking his own School Record with a Jump of 45' 1.50" and a 2nd in the High Jump, James Cote with a 2nd in the Hurdles & Long Jump and a 3rd in the High Jump and Wyatt Byther with a 1st in the 800M Run. Next up is the
PVC-EMITL Large School Championship Meet next Saturday night back at U. Maine.


Tonight the Yote basketball teams converged on Mackenzie Gym for the last time this season, playing host to Bucksport. Senior Night for the teams and our Pep Band Senior members - GJV 53-16W/ GV 60-30W/ BJV 70-20/ BV 89-44W - OTHS athletics thanks all the members of the Senior Class for basketball and pep band for the leadership, drive, and success shared over these past 4 years. Best of luck in the future!


Somehow we kept the water liquid last night for the OTHS Senior Swim Meet v. ELL - Boys 59-87 ELL, Girls 32-113 ELL - Congratulations to the Senior members of the OT Swim Team - Annie Roach, Conner May, and Andy Koch - Thank you for the years of dedication!


OTHS Cheer Update - Northern Maine Class B comp has been canceled for today, the comp date is moved to Monday, Feb. 6th at Ellsworth HS - our team is the last session, 7:20 PM start


Boys Basketball 🏀 travel down I95 to the big city and visit the Crusaders at the Cross Center tonight… JV opened the Wins with a 10pt 63-53W, paving the way for the Varsity team to take the court next… Varsity moving 13-2 with a 71-32W tonight… Senior games on Saturday at 4 PM, Mackenzie Gym


My favorite time a year! 🏀 Unified Basketball 🏀 across the river to Orono High School for the first game of the season…. YOTES learning the court and learning the game tonight and could not imagine doing it with a better program. Thank you Orono HS for the opening game, YOTES back for another great Unified season!

OTHS Lady Yotes Basketball at home v. F.A. - Ponies looking to disrupt the Coyotes tonight, but the Yotes had other plans as they move to 16-0 with a 47-26W - JV continued the winning with a solid 51-24W - Senior games next up for the Coyotes!


OTHS on the road to nearby Husson to face the Bangor Rams - some great times in the water tonight for the Coyotes and the scores reflect - OT Boys 75/ Bangor 88, OT Girls 68/ Bangor 57 - Senior Meet next week for the Coyotes as they welcome ELL to the Community Pool

The girls team finished 3rd and were led by Grace Willey with 1st place finishes in the Hurdles & High Jump, Kayleigh Johnston with a 1st in the 400M & a 4th in the 55M, Cassidy Rackliffe with a 2nd in the 2 Mile & a 4th in the High Jump, Olivia Lizzotte with a 2nd in the Triple Jump & a 5th in the 55M, got 2nd place finishes from Myah Worster in the 400M & Ely Briggs in the High Jump and a 3rd place from Olivia Small in the High Jump. The boys team, which finished 4th, was led by Corbin Flewelling with a 1st in the Triple Jump (breaking his own school record with a jump of 44' 6.50") & a 4th in the 200M, Jorden Cote with a 2nd in the 55M & a 3rd in the Long Jump, James Cote with a 2nd in the High Jump & a 3rd in the Triple Jump and Spencer Gordon with a 2nd in the 2 Mile. The teams get a
break now until their next meet a week from this Saturday.


OT Cheering hosting the OT Showcase for local cheer teams in the area… I don’t always get to cheer events because of my hosting schedule, but these girls always amaze me with the talent and drive they have to compete! Tonight we also got to recognize our only senior on the team - Natalie Blockburger for her years of service to the program - Teams from LMS, OTO Y Cheer, and OTHS got to showcase the years routines for the community tonight!



Varsity Basketball 🏀 on the road to the county try to beat the snow ❄️- Boys cruised to another win with a 83-32W and moved to a 12-2 on the season. Girls battled to a 47-40W and moved to 15-0 on the season…
