Just a few games up North as Coyotes travel to Caribou for some basketball - Girls made it exciting - JV 41-34 L - Varsity 61-58 in Overtime! - Boys team hit a bit of a speed bump as JV lost 71-66 and Varsity suffers 2nd loss 56-36 - Some big games next week for the teams!

The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams closed out the regular season today in an eight team meet at U. Maine. The girls' team finished up in 3rd place behind Bucksport and Hampden and were led individually by Lucy Veilleux with 1st place finishes in the Long Jump & Triple Jump, Ely Briggs 1st in the High Jump, 2nd place finishes from Lexi Wesley in the 800M, Lily Heitmann in the 2 Mile, Kylee Murray in the Shot Put, the 4x200M Relay team of Mikayla Johnston, Olivia Barthelemy, Wesley & Ruby Whitmore and the 4x800M Relay team of Chloe Henry, Liz Preble, Phoebe Yerxa & Heitmann. For the boys' team, Parker Day was 1st in the Triple Jump, Carter Osnoe 2nd in the Shot Put, the 4x200M Relay team of Lucas Bartkiewicz, Cooper Neely, Kaiden Plourde & Hayna Francis finished 2nd, Noah Briggs was 3rd in the Triple Jump and Neely & Francis finished 4th in the 400M and 800M respectively in the boys 6th place team finish. It's a short turnaround for the teams as they head back to U. Maine for the PVC Large School Championship Meet next Thursday evening.

LMS Cheering attended the Doughty Cheering Invitational this afternoon and for the second week in a row, came home with some hardware! Congratulations ladies on a second place finish!

LMS Boys played home to finish out the season vs Nokomis. The B team had a hard fought battle but finished with a loss 47-31. The A team started slow but finished with a 70-31 victory. Congratulations on a great season!

Historic night in Mackenzie gym as the Lady Coyotes welcome the Hermon Hawks - JV played to a 41-25 L - Varsity had a commanding 51-18 W moving to 14-2 on the season... OT's own Saige Evans becomes the 12th player in Basketball Program History to score 1000 points in her career t - Coyotes are proud of this achievement and excited to have the last Coyote to achieve this Hannah Richards to present the game ball to Saige! Congratulations Ms. Evans!

OTO playing host to HA at the Alfond tonight for Varsity and JV Hockey - Varsity first as they played to a 6-2 L and move to 5-7-1 on the season - JV played to a 1-1 tie on the night - Trip to Portland on Saturday for the team to play a tough Southern Maine team.

The girls team finished 2nd behind Bucksport, while the boys team had probably their best meet to date finishing 3rd. Leading the scoring for the girls were Lucy Veilleux with 2nd place finishes in the Long Jump & Triple Jump and a 3rd in the 55M Dash, Ely Briggs 1st in the High Jump, Kylee Murray 2nd in the Shot Put, Lexi Wesley 2nd in the 800M, Olivia Barthelemy 3rd in the 400M, Lily Heitmann 3rd in the Mile & 4th the 800M, while the 4x800M Relay team of Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Heitmann finished 1st and the 4x200M Relay team of Mikayla Johnston, Barthelemy, Wesley & Ruby Whitmore finished 3rd. For the boys, Hayna Francis finished 2nd in the Long Jump & 3rd in the Mile, Parker Day was 2nd in the Triple Jump & 4th in the High Jump, Kaiden Plourde was 3rd in the 800M, CJ Yanush was 3rd in the Hurdles and the 4x200M Relay team of Lucas Bartkiewicz, Andrew Wolfertz, Kaiden Plourde & Francis finished 3rd to lead the boys scorers. The teams finish off the regular season next Saturday back at U. Maine.
