
Nothing like opening day for the Coyotes as they start the quest for Gold! Double Headers v. Caribou!


The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams opened up the season today at home, with both teams finishing up in 1st place in their ten team meets. The girls team, winning 13 of the 18 events, received individual 1st place finishes from Grace Willey in the 100M Hurdles, Long Jump & High Jump, Dominique Reinzo in the Shot Put, Discus & Javelin, Olivia Lizzotte in the 100M & Triple Jump, Taylor Loring in the 400M and Alexis Wesley in the 800M. They also got 1st place finishes from the 4x100M Relay of Lizzotte, Willey, Rhiannon Bousquet & Libby Saucier, the 4x400M Relay of Myah Worster, Karina Dumond, Chloe Henry & Taylor and the 4x800M Relay of Wesley, Cassidy Rackliffe, Lida Kanoti & Taylor. The boys team received four individual 1st place finishes from Corbin Flewelling in the 100M, Long Jump, Triple Jump & High Jump, and also got individual wins from James Cote in the 110M & 300M Hurdles,
Jorden Cote in the 200M & Spencer Gordon in the 800M and had a win by the 4x400M Relay team of Hayna Francis, Jorden Cote, Wyatt Byther & Gordon. The teams are back in action next Saturday at Bangor.


Opening the Spring Sports Season at a chilly 🥶 OTHS Community Courts as OT Tennis host Hermon - Boys lost 1-4, Girls pulled off a W 3-2 - Good start for the Yotes!


Due to weather and court conditions - Tennis is rescheduled for Noon tomorrow 4/19 at FA - 10 AM Bus

The weirdest event has led to the cancellation of today's softball game, the infield has decided to become mud - so the softball game v. Central, scheduled for today 4/8 is postponed to another day.


UMaine field opened up early for Saturday, April 8th. We will be able to start our Baseball game v. Central at 6:30 PM - we will play 9 innings, Admission is free for our game...
UMaine plays before our game, admission is free, so come enjoy a day of Baseball...

LMS Athletics Update today, Wednesday, April 5th: Due to the timing of potential weather Softball tryouts will be postponed until tomorrow at Milligan's Sport Center from 3:30-5. Today's baseball tryouts are still on at LMS from 3:30-5. Track practice is still on from 3:30-5 but will be held here at LMS not OTHS. Go Coyotes!!!


Couple changes to the Saturday April 8th Schedule - Softball 🥎 is still scheduled for a double-header v. Central at 12/2 PM - field conditions will be a factor - Baseball ⚾️ field is not ready, Baseball will be playing at 8 PM at Mahaney Diamond v. Central under the lights....


OTHS was well represented yesterday by Gabby Cody, Grace Willey, and Gabe Gifford at the Joe Paul Scholarship banquet. Honors given to the top achieving and top academic Seniors from around the PVC. A huge thank you to Coach Cristafulli for stepping in to represent OTHS as well. Congratulations to all!

Maine Interscholastic Swim League (MISL) Girls Coach of the Year
Josh Dangelo–Old Town nominated by James Goodman - Coach Josh Dangelo is a true professional in all aspects. As a coach he is totally dedicated to the improvement and support of his swimmers, and it shows in their awesome on deck spirit and sportsmanship. Regardless of a meet outcome, he is always positive and an outstanding mentor to his athletes. He strives to improve their skills while also instilling team pride which is evident in the on-deck spirit and demeanor of his team. He is an excellent example of what coaching aspiring young adults is all about. Not totally winning meets and championships but providing a positive experience for his athletes.
Congratulations Coach D'Angelo on your achievements, we are lucky to have you at OTHS!
