The K-Kids will start their food drive on November 1 and focus on supporting our school's resource center. This year the students decided to have a COMMUNITY FOCUS and have students in those communities bring in items based on the community they are in. For every items your child brings in, they will be entered into a drawing BLUE COMMUNITY Bringing in Snack Items ( Goldfish, animal crackers, pretzels) GREEN COMMUNITY Bringing in Paper Goods and Hygiene items RED COMMUNITY Bringing in Cleaning Items (glass cleaner, trash bags, detergent) YELLOW COMMUNITY Canned Goods or Non-Perishable Items

The D.O.G.S ( Dads of great students) will be meeting next month on Nov 14 at 6 pm at YAMAS. Typically the group will be meeting on the third Wednesday of the month but moved the date in November to adjust for the Thanksgiving Break

Today, we had student athletes from the University of Maine group Male Athletes Against Violence visit our kindergarten students to read Hands are Not for Hitting. They also brought along some special gifts. Kindergarten classes who did not get a visit today will on Friday.

Thank you for supporting our PTC booth at Riverfest. We made $570 at our booth. All the money will go back to our students and activities planned throughout the school year. If you didn't get a school t-shirt yet, please let us know, we have some available at our school.
