Good all fashion battle in Mackenzie tonight for the Senior Day game - #4 Yotes played host to the #2 Riots - JV with a W 49-36 - Varsity with a tight game L 41-43 - Thank you to our Senior Members of basketball and cheer for the years of dedication to the programs!


Unified Basketball 🏀 (aka Mr. B Favorite Sport) opened the season today as they welcomed the Riots to Mackenzie Gym - Yotes walked away with a 88-61 W for the opening of the season! Great to have this sport back in Mackenzie…

PI game canceled- rescheduled for 2/19 - no time yet
HA game has been rescheduled for 2/17 at 7:40 PM at Sawyer Arena


When it comes to School Counselors, OTHS has 2 of the best. Thank you to Kim Ketch and Jami Martell for all you do for our students. The Maine Community College System accurately represented much of what our Counselors do for our students. Happy National School Counseling Week!


Events for the Feb. 7th Week


OT Cheer in action at the Regional Championship at Stearns HS - this was a rescheduled event - Girls had a good showing in a competitive group - finishing 6th on the day and moving on to states!


The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams wrapped up the regular season today with a six team meet at the New Balance Fieldhouse at UMaine with a 3rd place team finish for the girls and a 2nd place team finish for the boys. Leading the way again for the girls were junior Grace Willey with individual wins in the Hurdles and High Jump and senior Chelsey Cote with a win in the Shot Put. For the boys, junior Corbin Flewelling with individual wins in the High Jump, Long Jump and Triple Jump and junior James Cote with a win in the Hurdles lead the way. Next up is the PVC Large School Championship Meet next Saturday night back at UMaine.


OT Wrestling at the PVC Championship at FA - Sam C. was 2-1 and made the podium for 2nd place, Isaac T was 2-2, Kloee M was 0-2, and Keane B. was 0-2 on the day. Regionals are next!


RSU 34:: RSU #34 Schools Closed on Friday February 4, 2022 due to a winter storm.


Houlton has canceled the Varsity Girls game tonight due to weather - we will reschedule this game for Thursday, 2/10

Tonight we finally got the honor of dedicating our new officials table to the family that made it possible - OTHS Athletics thanks for Grant Family and the Patrick Grant Memorial for the donations to fund the purchase of our new officials table for Mackenzie Gym.



Some big games tonight in Mackenzie before snow-mageden tomorrow - Girls Varsity up first with a 74-40 W against the Ponies, 13-1 and still in 1st, Boys wrapped up the night with a 57-41 W against FA, 11-3 and moving to 3rd place! Be Safe Coyote Nation…
