
Yote Nation Mount Up! Big game tonight in Mackenzie Gym as the Coyotes welcomed the Crusaders - JV rolled out the welcome mat with a 47-23 W - Varsity said the goodbyes and did the dishes with a 56-48 W - moves them to 10-3 and to 4th place - Ponies attempt a ride in tomorrow!


Due to the impending storm forecasted for Saturday January 29, the MPA Regional Cheerleading Competition at the Cross Center in Bangor and the Augusta Civic Center have been postponed to Saturday, February 5. Class B North, C North, and D North/South will now take place at Stearns Jr./Sr. High School in Millinocket and Class A North and South, Class B and C South will take place at Lewiston High School. The revised schedules will be available and posted on the website early next week.


Girls Basketball is canceled on Saturday, 1/29/22 due to predicted weather. We have rescheduled for Varsity Only on Monday, 2/7 6 PM @ Orono HS. JV will be playing at Brewer HS that day.


OT Boys tonight 1/25/22 has been canceled. At this point we cannot get a makeup date as both teams schedules are full and no common dates are present.

🏀 OT Girls Basketball 🏀 on the road to the Island tonight in MDI - Short staffed JV up first playing to a 15-39 L - Varsity finished the night 48-40 W and moving to 11-1 on the season….


Due to predicted weather on Friday into Saturday, we have made changes.
Varsity games on Friday, 1/28 and moved them up in time to get people in and out. So the schedule is as follows:
GJV and BJV canceled
Girls Varsity v. F.A. - 1/28 @ 4 PM
Boys Varsity v. F.A. - 1/28 @ 5:30 PM

Busy Week! OTHS Events 1/24 Week


🥅 🏒 OTO wrapping up the weekend hosting the Witches at the Alfond - 🐻 Black Bears move to 6-1 on the season with a 7-1 W - Monday game has been postponed, next game Wednesday.


OT cheer in action at the PVC meet at Hermon - team overcame some speed bumps with teammates being out and learned a new routine overnight… team came away with a 5th place finish! Onto states!


OT Coyotes on the road to MCI today… couple of good games for the Yotes, girls played and came away with a 76-59 W, Boys played next and came away with 64-44 W


The girls and boys indoor track teams, missing several members from each team this week, competed tonight in this year's 5 team regular season large school meet at the New Balance Fieldhouse at the U. Maine. The girls team, led by senior Chelsey Cote's individual first place finish in the Shot Put, ended up 4th in the team results, while the boys team finished up in 5th place and were led by the three individual 2nd place finishes from senior Chester Turner in the 55, 200 and Long Jump.
Both teams finish up the regular season next Saturday back at U. Maine.


OT Wrestling at MA Duels Invitational - A couple of wrestlers in action tonight… Sam C. went 3 -0, Kloee M. went 2 - 1, and Xander D. went 2 - 2 on the night….

OTHS Events - Jan 17th Week


Wrapping up athletics for Saturday, OTO Hockey 🏒 playing the Witches at the Alfond today… a little different for the Bears being away, but that didn’t matter in play - 5-1 victory for the Black Bears 🐻 - moving to 5-1 on the season.


🏀 Basketball 🏀 going 4-0 in the County today, Both programs walked away with solid wins - Girls JV win a 41-38 W Girls Varsity 57-46 W - Boys JV 55-53 W, Boys Varsity 55-53 W - Varsity games on Tuesday v. MDI


The Girls and Boys Indoor Track teams were in action today in a 5 team regular season meet at the U. Maine Fieldhouse.
The girls team finished 3rd in their meet behind Class A Bangor and Brewer and were led by junior Grace Willey with individual wins in the Hurdles & High Jump and senior Chelsey Cote with an individual win in the Shot Put with another personal best throw of 34'1"!
The boys team had a strong meet finishing 2nd, just 2 points behind Brewer and ahead of Bangor, finishing in front of the Class A Rams for the first time in quite a few years! The boys were led by junior Corbin Flewelling with individual wins in the Hurdles, High Jump & Triple Jump, senior Chester Turner who won the 55M Dash & Long Jump and junior Jorden Cote who was victorious in the 400M Run!
The teams will have another 5 team meet, including Bangor and Brewer, next Friday night back at U. Maine.
