Yotes welcoming MDI to the Community Courts for some Tuesday afternoon tennis - both teams move to 3-1 on the season and both Coyote teams win 3-2 against MDI!
LMS Baseball and Softball teams traveled to Cohen for their first games of the season yesterday. Both teams battled hard but came away with a pair of losses. Teams are back in action Wednesday at home vs. Doughty.

The Girls and Boys Outdoor Track teams were on the road today in an 8 team meet at Cameron Stadium in Bangor, with the girls team turning in a strong runner-up finish to a very good Bangor girls team, while the boys team wound up 4th behind Bangor, Presque Isle and Ft. Fairfield. Leading the way for the girls were, Lucy Veilleux with 1st place finishes in the Long Jump, with a New School Record jump of 17'-3.50", and Triple Jump, Kylee Murray with a 1st in Shot Put, 3rd in Javelin & 4th in Discus, Ely Briggs 1st in High Jump & 3rd in Triple Jump, a 1st from the 4x800M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Chloe Henry & Lily Heitmann and 2nd place finishes from Olivia Barthelemy in the 400M Run, Ruby Whitmore in the 300M Hurdles, Emma Mushero in the 1600M Racewalk and the 4x100M Relay team of Olivia Lizzotte, Libby Saucier, Whitmore & Veilleux and the 4x400M Relay team of Mikayla Johnston, Briggs, Henry & Barthelemy.
For the boys, Hayna Francis led the way with 1st place finishes in the Long Jump, and the 400M & 800M Runs, while Grayson Thibeault finished 1st in Triple Jump, 2nd in Long Jump and Tied for 2nd in High Jump and they also received a 2nd place finish from the 4x100M Relay team of Andrew Wolfertz, Francis, CJ Yanush & Thibeault. The teams are back home next Saturday, with a 2PM start time.
And completing the Ellsworth 🧹 for athletics today - OTHS tennis 🎾 in action, Boys with a 5-0 W and moving to 2-0, Girls with a battle 3-2 W and moving to 1-1! Couple of matches next week!

A couple of good home openers for the Yote JV teams as Baseball played host to M.A. and Softball 🥎 v. ELL. Softball made it fun coming back in the final inning, but fell short 8-6 L - Baseball started slow and finished strong with a game shortened 19-5 W.... onto the next!
Todays LMS Baseball and Softball games have been postponed to June 7. Neither team will practice after school today.

JV Baseball ⚾️ and Softball 🥎 in action for the season at Hermon - Baseball ⚾️ went a full 9-inning game winning 7-6, Softball 🥎 lost in a complete game 13-7... More games the rest of the week, weather is a factor for Wednesday....
OT Tennis 🎾 opened the season in Ellsworth today - Girls struggled to find their rackets in the first matches losing 0-5, boys finished the night with a well played 5-0 win.... we welcome Ellsworth on Friday at OTHS

The girls' team came away with a strong first place team finish, receiving individual victories from Kylee Murray in the Shot Put & Discus, Lucy Veilleux in the Long Jump & Triple Jump, Ely Briggs in the High Jump, Mikayla Johnston in the 400M, Emma Mushero in the Racewalk, the 4x800M Relay team of Lexi Wesley, Liz Preble, Phoebe Yerxa & Lily Heitmann and the 4x100M Relay team of Olivia Lizzotte, Johnston, Ruby Whitmore & Veilleux. While the boys team had a solid 3rd place team finish, led by individual runner-up finishes from Hayna Francis in the 800M & 200M, Grayson Thibeault in the Long Jump & Triple Jump and Killian Pottle in the Shot Put. The teams are back in action next Saturday at Cameron Stadium in Bangor.
